After three furious hours of mixing, stirring and cooking, the judges took their first bites at the 30th annual Gilroy Garlic Festival Great Garlic Cook-Off.
The event featured amateur chefs from around the country who were chosen to prepare a dish live based on recipes they had sent in to a selection committee earlier this year.
