GILROY - Teams from Arroyo Grande, Sunnyvale, Hollister and Morgan Hill will be among the four teams playing in the 24th Annual Garlic Festival Men's E Softball Tournament on July 18-19 in Gilroy.
The double-elimination event will conclude Sunday afternoon at Christmas Hill Park, site of the 31st annual Gilroy Garlic Festival the following three-day weekend.
Games begin at 9 a.m. on four fields Saturday, July 18. Good Guys Financial of Hollister meet Dutchman's Pizza at the Ranch Site, Self Made and Dee'z Nutz, the defending champion, square off at Christmas Hill's major field. The Red Dogz and Los Cochinos play at the Christmas Hill minor field. Los Guapos and Ken's Solar play the Las Animas opener.
Games continue until 10 p.m. Saturday, with the top eight teams coming back Sunday to compete for individual and team awards. More information is available at (408) 846-0460.
