I think it needs to be known that Adrian was NOT the cause of that penalty and is a GREAT football player!"

Green Phone went to Hammond and found out that, yes, after reviewing the game tape, coaches couldn't find an infraction by Melendez on the play. Taking that into consideration, there is no denying that Melendez has had two very good games to begin the year. An interception to help close out Mitty and then three stellar plays in the second half at Atascadero have him on track to be one the team's defensive leaders.
