Borrachos bounced by Bingo for second place

GILROY - VFW Bingo slipped into second place in the Men's Fall E League standings Thursday with a 19-4 victory over the Borrachos at Las Animas Park.

Gary Tognetti lined four hits and Stephen Jeske hit a two-run home run to help VFW Bingo to a 4-2 mark. Daniel Garcia managed a double, single and sacrifice fly for 3-2 Borrachos.

Da Click snapped a four-game losing streak with a 29-4 nod over Claddagh Brew Crew.

Xavier Lujan went 6-for-6 and Gonzalo Zamora and Francky Rubio hit homers for the 1-4 winners. Paul Morrow's two-run double keyed a four-run fourth for the Brew Crew.

Kris Puthoff and Gene Smith each garnered six hits to propel the Good Ole Boys past 831 Aftershock 26-13.

Joe Yerena hit two home runs and Alejandro Yerena went 3-for-3 for 831 Aftershock.

Raul Salgado powered two home runs Friday as Men's BB leader Dutchman's outlasted FTP by a 14-6 count. Ralph Martinez went 4-for-4 for the 3-1 Dutchman's. Roger Hernandez bagged three hits for 2-3 FTP.

Dee'z Nutz topped Self Made 7-1 as Mario Bena and Sean Subia each delivered three hits. Eric Gonzalez went 3-for-4 and scored the Self Made run.

The Hustlers moved into third place at 3-2 in the Co-Rec B League Sunday at Las Animas with a 6-5 edging of Out To Play.

Nicole Lara singled and scored on a Bubba Mendez double in the bottom of the seventh inning to cap the Hustler comeback. Lara sparked the winners with three hits.

Carmen Santoya went 4-for-4 and Art Naranjo and Mario Silva added solo homers for Out To Play.

Hi-Energy Networks is second at 3-2 in the Co-Rec C League after topping El Fuego 10-3.

Aaron Perez belted a triple and two doubles for Hi-Energy. Sara Eppard helped the winners with three singles and two RBI. Jesse Arizon hit a triple and two singles for El Fuego.

Henry Maquinalez hit a three-run home run to lead Anritsu past Blackout Window Tinting 6-5. Serf Mancera homered and Terry Smith tripled and singled for Blackout Window Tinting.
