Loco Boys post a crazy amount of runs

The Loco Boys opened the Men's Fall DD League with a 16-15 squeaker over Feather Haven Wednesday at Las Animas Park.

Trailing 15-12 after five, the Loco Boys countered with a four-run uprising in the sixth inning. Bob Lucio, Nathan Mandrell, Alex Pena and Bubba Lara poked consecutive one-out singles to highlight the rally.

Pena finished with a triple, double and single to take game batting honors. Albert Alosi homered and Brett Scott went 3-for-4 for Feather Haven.

John Carrillo provided two doubles and a single as Los Pistoleros turned back Team Wicked 6-4.

Jose Serrano went 3-for-3 and Zeke Lopez scored twice for the winners. Brian Fialkowski and Art Mancera each delivered two hits for Wicked.

David Espinoza hit a three-run home run and Benito Landeros hit a double and two singles to propel the Bomb Squad past Gilroy Screening Printing 18-6. Joaquin Chacon homered and Ralph Ortiz collected two singles and a sacrifice fly for Gilroy Screen Printing.

The Players began Fall D League action Tuesday with a 9-6 victory over Pacific Coast Bail Bonds at Las Animas.

Aaron Muro and Robert Flores each belted three hits and scored three runs to anchor the Players offense. Gary Diaz stroked a two-run triple and two singles for the winners. Joel Gaeta and Mitch MacVicar each homered, while Ryan Boyd slapped a triple, double and single for Pacific Coast Bail Bonds.

The Titans scored 11 runs in the fourth inning on the way to a 21-13 decision over the Hit Men.

Johnny Ramirez hit a two-run single and David Rose plated one run with a triple in the Ttians' big inning. Vance Lee went 4-for-4 with a three-run home run for the winners. Mike Maggiora went 4-for-4 for the Hit Men.

Gamers In Control powered past Blackout Window Tinting 16-10 as AJ Martinez went 4-for-4 and Ian Hanley launched a three-run home run. Jeff Wong homered in a three-run hit, four-run performance for Blackout.
