Pro Electric zaps Central Coast, 17-2

Gilroy - Pro Electric powered by Central Coast Collision 17-2 Monday to remain unbeaten in Men's CCC League softball play at Christmas Hill Park.

Daniel Sandoval Sr. went 3-for-3 and Matias Franco drove in four runs for Pro Electric. Bobby Granados hit a two-run triple for Central Coast Collision.

No Soup 4 You joined the Electricians at 3-0 by blanking Campbell's Towing 15-0. Kurt Gitmed homered and Fausto Padilla and Ricky Castaneda each belted three Soup hits. Pat Gavitt went 2-for-2 for Campbell's Towing.

Dutchman's Pizza (2-1) earned a forfeit win over the Desperados.

Daniel Estrada and Johnny Andretti each hit a grand slam as 3-0 Aladdin Bail Bonds-Rhino Wiring defeated California Silk Screening 23-20 in Men's CC action Monday at Las Animas Park.

Steve Aguirre went 4-for-4 as the winners struck for 31 hits. Carlos Naranjo homered and Omar Benitez went 3-for-4 as the Screeners managed 22 hits.

Countryside Daycare is second in CC play at 2-1 after a 17-2 victory over Windsor Plumbing. Eric Peterson and Kris Ferguson hit Countryside homers, Albert Alosi a 4-for-4 effort. Nathaniel Moore went 2-for-2 for Windsor Plumbing.

The Las Animas Sweepers are 2-1 after a 22-12 decision over Temple Inland. Kevin Orosco hit two homers and two doubles, Joseph Arde a 4-for-4 performance for the Sweepers. Dean Crew went 4-for-5 with a three-run home run for Temple Inland.

California Chop Shop shocked Chicks N' Sticks 16-4 Sunday to create a three-team tie for first place in the Co-Rec B League at Las Animas.

Richard Chavez and Liz Talavera each went 4-for-5 for the 2-1 Chop Shop. D. J. Simpson went 2-for-2 with a walk for the 2-1 Chicks.

Feather Haven Mill is 2-1 by topping the Ball Hoggs 12-4. Mike Leslie hit a grand slam in a 3-for-3 night and Cherie Somavia went 3-for-3 for the Millers. Phil Tercero singled and doubled for the Ball Hoggs.

Team Hair FX edged the Ballers 6-4 to move to 3-0 atop the Co-Rec C League Sunday at Las Animas.

Gil Ramirez hit a three-run homer for Team Hair FX. Jason Brindle singled and doubled for the Ballers.

John Ceballos went 3-for-5 to propel Frame Your Family In Eyewear by State Farm Big Kahunas 20-15.
