The following teachers and staff at Gilroy High School would like to respond to the recent allegations regarding letters to the editor and columns that insinuate there is a climate of fear within the Gilroy Unified School District.

We can not speak for all schools in the district, but we would like to say that our principal, Bob Bravo, and the rest of our administration have an open door policy.

We feel that we are able to speak up about our feelings, thoughts or any idea(s) that we have regarding the high school or our jobs.

The letters and columns that have appeared in The Dispatch may make the community believe that all teachers feel threatened by their administration and principals.We wanted to make it publicly clear that we don't feel that our jobs are in danger for speaking our minds at Gilroy High School.
