Giving or selling tobacco to a minor

David Dimas, 20, of the 400 block of Lincoln Court, 6:36 p.m. Wednesday, at the Las Animas Veterans Park skate park, 350 Mantelli Drive.

Cayton Kester, 18, of the 8500 block of Wren Avenue, 6:48 p.m. Wednesday, at the Las Animas Veterans Park skate park, 350 Mantelli Drive.

Possessing or selling a tear gas weapon

Israel Juarez, 20, of the 500 block of Hadley Court, 11:26 a.m. Thursday, at Maple and Sixth streets for a possessing or selling a tear gas weapon and parole hold.

DUI

Jose Camacho, 36, of San Jose, 1:59 a.m. Friday, at Monterey and First streets, for driving without a license and driving under the influence of alcohol.

Roberto Rodriguez, 31, of San Martin, 9:17 p.m. Thursday, at Canterbury Place and Monterey Street for driving under the influence of alcohol and reckless driving.

Enrique Chavez Santos, 24, of the 400 block of Fairview Drive, 9:05 p.m. Saturday, at First Street and Kern Avenue on warrants for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a suspended license, failure to comply with a court order and failure to appear in court.

Grand theft

Enrique Mendez, 29, of the 9600 block of Ohlone Drive, 12:29 p.m. Friday, at Orchard Supply Hardware, 303 E. 10th St. He also was cited at Gilroy Police Department, 7301 Hanna St., on warrants for driving without registration and driving with a suspended license.

Darren Baker, 40, of the 7300 block of Carmel Street, 12:29 p.m. Friday, at Orchard Supply Hardware, 303 E. 10th St.

Christina Amarante, 20, of the 7900 block of Westwood Drive, 6:45 p.m. Sunday, at her residence on warrants for grand theft of personal property, petty theft of personal property, and making or passing fictitious checks. Amarante was listed in the Gilroy Dispatch's Most Wanted.

Drug possession

Jessica Pacheco, 18, of Watsonville, 4:38 p.m. Friday, at 8337 Church St. for possession of marijuana for sale.

Marco Lopez, 20, of Freedom, 5:15 p.m. Friday, at 8339 Church St.

Mario Ballesteros, 24, of Watsonville, at 5:19 p.m., 8337 Church St. for possession of at least an ounce of marijuana and driving without a license, and on warrants for driving without a license and using a cell phone while driving.

Carlos Casas, 21, of the 6800 block of Glenview Drive, 9:48 p.m. Saturday, at 2382 Maple St. on warrants for possession of a controlled substance and possession of at least an ounce of marijuana.

Hit and run

Juan Mejia, 28, of Salinas, 7:35 p.m. Friday, at Chestnut and 10th streets for hit and run causing property damage and driving with suspended privileges.

Petty theft

Mariano Rivera, 51, transient, 1:09 p.m. Saturday, at Wal-Mart, 7150 Camino Arroyo.

Claudio Rodriguez, 51, of the 7300 block of Church Street, 2:15 p.m. Monday, at Wal-Mart, 7150 Camino Arroyo.

Resisting, delaying or obstructing an officer

Glen Cantone, 56, of the 8000 block of Monterey Street, 5:59 p.m. Saturday, at his residence on warrants for public intoxication and for resisting, delaying or obstructing a peace officer.

Parole hold

Jerry Luna, 22, of the 7300 block of Maple Street, 9:37 p.m. Saturday, at 7390 Maple St.

Vandalism

Antonio Trejo, 26, of San Jose, 4:20 a.m. Sunday, at Saint Louise Regional Hospital, 9400 No Name Uno, for committing vandalism that led to more than $500 worth of damage and for a parole hold.

Public intoxication

George Lovin, 39, transient, 5:40 p.m. Sunday, at the South Valley Plaza Shopping Center, 353 E. 10th St.

Battery on a former significant other

Ralph Martinez, 35, of the 400 block of Fairview Drive, 12:13 a.m. Monday, for vandalism, battery on a former significant other, and maliciously removing or damaging a wireless communication device.

Driving with suspended privileges

Raquel Ozuna, 38, of the 700 block of El Cerrito Way, 7:35 p.m. Monday, at El Cerrito Way and Wren Avenue on a warrant.
