Police blotter: Man arrested for helping to sell stolen scrap metal

False identification

Alan Hernandez, 30, of San Jose, 12:10 a.m. Friday, at Eigleberry and Second streets for providing false identification to a police officer, driving with a suspended license, and warrants for for driving under the influence, contempt of court and driving with a suspended license.

Embezzlement

Alice Fausto, 31, of the 6500 block of Princevalle Avenue, 9:12 a.m. Friday, at 8284 Swanston Lane on a warrant.

Petty theft

Laura Marquezcubilla, 36, of the 400 block of Fairview Avenue, 8:01 p.m. Friday, at Wal-Mart, 7150 Camino Arroyo.

Drug possession

Francisco Duarte, 20, transient, 5:47 p.m. Friday, at Motel 6, 6110 Monterey Road, on a warrant.

Burglary

Manuel Rocha, 36, of San Jose, 2:22 p.m. Friday, at Pincevalle and Sixth streets for parole hold, burglary, and selling or aiding in selling stolen scrap metals.

Driving with a suspended license

Erica Guerrero, 28, of Watsonville, 9:54 a.m. Saturday, at Gilroy Police Department, 7301 Hanna St., on a warrant.

Gabriel Gonzalez, 25, of the 7000 block of Church Street, 9:53 p.m. Saturday, at 7-Eleven, 162 W. 10th St., for driving with a suspended license and on warrants for driving with a suspended license, driving with a revoked license, being under the influence of a controlled substance, and driving without insurance.

Battery on a former fiance, spouse or girlfriend

Sean Hale, 18, of the 600 block of Johnson Way, 6:05 a.m. Saturday, on the first block of Crawford Drive.

Robbery

Roberto Mendoza, 25, of the 12000 block of Monterey Road in San Martin, 1:51 p.m. Saturday, at Lowe's, 7151 Camino Arroyo, for exhibiting a deadly weapon, assault with a deadly weapon and two counts of robbery.

Public intoxication

Roy Aguilar, 36, of the 7800 block of Kelton Drive, 11:30 p.m. Saturday, at Motel 6, 6110 Monterey Road.

Robert Moreno, 42, transient, 10:43 p.m., Sunday, at 7862 Eigleberry St.

Driving under the influence

Jeremy Damon, 18, of Hollister, 12:49 a.m. Sunday, at 7041 Church St. for driving under the influence, marijuana possession and reckless driving.

Tresspassing

Kenneth Graves, 42, transient, 11:40 a.m. Sunday, at First and Church streets for warrants for entering someone's property without permission and public intoxication.

Battery

Yvonne Murphy, 51, of the 8000 block of Monterey St., 10:47 a.m. Sunday, at her residence.
