Troy Anderson, 41, of the 7200 block of Dowdy Street, 4:36 p.m. Wednesday, at the Gilroy Police Department, 7301 Hanna St., on warrants for talking on a phone while driving and driving with a suspended license. Anderson self-surrendered at the police station and was released on a promise to appear at a future court date.

Being under the influence of alcohol and/or a controlled substance
Michael Haynes, 40, transient, 7:32 p.m. Wednesday, at 281 First St. for being under the influence of a controlled substance and/or alcohol and resisting a peace officer.
