Resisting, delaying or obstructing an officer
Jose Anthony Solorio, 22, of Gilroy, 2:36 a.m. Saturday, near Eigleberry and First streets for resisting, delaying or obstructing an officer and unspecified warrants after deputies conducted a car stop and Solorio fled on foot.
Elder abuse
Divine Pangyarinan, 33, of Gilroy, 10:15 a.m. May 26, on the 400 block of Church Avenue in San Martin for theft of an ATM card and elder abuse after she admitted to taking the ATM card of a resident of the nursing home where she worked and charging $3,619.
Other sheriff's incidents
Vehicle burglary
Clothing, electronic equipment, and a silver Motorola cell phone worth more than $2,000 were stolen from a white 2004 Dodge Ram on the 9900 block of Pacheco Pass Highway in Hollister, between 5 and 7:30 a.m. Sunday.
Several collectable toys, including a Tony the Tiger cookie jar, Buzz Lightyear action figures and 500 Matchbox cars, were stolen from a locked motorhome on the 4600 block of Pacheco Pass Highway, between 8 p.m. Dec. 21, 2008 and 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
An Apple iPod and about $20 in loose change were stolen from a locked green 1994 Honda Accord on the 1000 block of Day Road, between 11:15 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday. The car's passenger window was smashed.
A purse containing a wallet, credit cards and checks were stolen from a gold 2006 GMC Canyon on the 700 block of Rucker Avenue, between 8:30 p.m. May 25 and 8:30 a.m. May 26. The car's window was smashed.
A purse, credit cards, checks and electronic equipment were stolen from a locked black 2006 Nissan Xterra on the 1000 block of Malo Court, between 3:30 and 4:20 a.m. May 26.
Vandalism
The rear window of a champagne Ford Focus was broken on the 9100 block of Burchell Road, between 11:15 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday.
Recovered stolen vehicle
A green 1995 Acura Integra was found near Kelly Lane and Denio Avenue, 1:22 a.m. Sunday.
A white 1990 Honda Accord stolen out of San Jose was found near Willow Springs Road and Hale Avenue in Morgan Hill, 2:50 a.m. May 26.
Grand theft
A gas-powered Lincoln Ranger welder and a trailer worth $5,500 were stolen from a farm on the 4900 block of Frazier Lake Road, between 7 p.m. May 22 and 8 a.m. May 23.
Theft of credit card
A Gilroy woman's Bank of the West debit card was used to make a $452.98 purchase at an Arizona Wal-Mart, between 12 p.m. May 26 and 10 a.m. May 27.
Harassing phone calls
A 41-year-old San Jose man is suspected of calling his ex-girlfriend's house on the 3100 block of Debbie Lane, 7:30 a.m. May 27, and telling her father that he would "blow up the house" if his ex-girlfriend did not answer the phone. The father does not fear for his safety but wanted the calls documented for a future custody hearing between the man and his daughter.
Harassing text messages
A 36-year-old San Jose man is suspected of sending a text message to the son of his girlfriend, challenging the son to fight, 10:16 p.m. May 11.
