Police Incidents: Three laptops found on Casey Street

Commercial burglary

Somebody kicked out a window to a classroom at Glenview Elementary School on West Eighth Street, 10:17 p.m. Dec. 23. Once inside, the person spray painted several items including three iMac computers, a television, an overhead projector, tables and walls. A 1970s model gold Ford Mustang with a black roof was seen leaving the area. The amount of damage is $3, 950.

Auto burglary

Someone smashed the rear window out of a commercial van parked on the 6700 block of Stephen Court, between 5 p.m. Dec 20 and 7 a.m. Dec. 22. A commercial vacuum cleaner, stereo, tool box and carpet stretcher, valued at $2,000, were stolen.

Someone cut the cargo door lock out of a commercial van, parked on the 500 block of Hoover Court, and stole several tools, between 11 p.m. Dec. 21 and 7 a.m. Dec. 22.

Someone smashed the rear window out and damaged the front window and the rearview mirror of a vehicle parked on the 7600 block of Santa Barbara Drive, between 4 p.m. Dec. 21 and 7 a.m. Dec. 22. A Wii game box with only rags in it was stolen.

Someone smashed the driver's door window of a commercial van parked on the 6400 block of Church Street and stole several tools, between 5 p.m. Dec. 19 and 8:30 a.m. Dec. 22.

Found property

A Dell Latitude, a Dell Inspirion and an IBM Thinkpad, all laptops, were found on Casey Street, 10 a.m. Dec. 22.

A silver and red Huffy brand boy's bicycle was found in front of a residence on the 900 block of Wentz Drive, 1:33 p.m. Dec. 22.

Petty theft

Someone stole 20 CDs from the glove box of an unlocked blue 2001 Honda Accord parked on the 7600 block of St. Francis Court, between 8 a.m. Dec. 21 and 9 a.m. Dec. 22. The CDs are valued at $200.

Someone entered an unlocked red 2003 Kia parked on the 7700 block of Santa Barbara and stole several Christmas gifts, between 4 p.m. Dec. 21 and 9 a.m. Dec. 22. A Husky tool set worth $30, a toolbox worth $10 and a Playstation 3 controller worth $60 were stolen.

Some unidentified people were caught on video opening a vehicle on Alexander Street and stealing a cell phone, 4:52 p.m. Dec. 22.

Narcotics

A man located a box containing cash and marijuana which belonged to his roommate, 3:31 p.m. Dec. 22, on Kern Avenue. He confronted his roommate who admitted to selling the marijuana.

Vandalism

Someone vandalized a white 2006 Dodge Ram by making three dents to the rear passenger side door, 7:14 p.m. Dec. 22.
