Sheriff's arrests
Felony vandalism

Reynaldo Coronel, 22, of Gilroy, 5:15 p.m. Dec. 10, on the 2400 block of Pacheco Court.

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Debby Renee Borjas, 45, of Gilroy, 10:39 p.m. Dec. 9, near San Martin Avenue and Monterey Road in San Martin for possession of drug paraphernalia, expired registration and no proof of insurance.

Public intoxication

Joel Barcenas Moreno, 35, of San Martin, 3:29 p.m. Dec. 9, on the 14500 block of Monterey Road in San Martin.

Vandalism

The word "vemeo" was painted on a fence post, between 10 p.m. Friday and 9:30 a.m. Saturday, near James Court and Murphy Avenue in Morgan Hill.

Rocks were thrown at a Gilroy woman's solar panels, causing about $2,700 in damage, between 12 p.m. Oct. 11 and 9:30 a.m. Dec. 10, on the 100 block of Buena Vista Avenue.

Theft

A satellite mail drop was pried open, between 2 p.m. Thursday and 1:29 p.m. Friday, near Hecker Pass Highway and Whitehurst Road. Police do not know if any mail was taken.

Forgery

A Morgan Hill man's 41-year-old girlfriend forged and cashed two of his checks without his authorization, between 12 p.m. Oct. 29 and 12 p.m. Nov. 17. She remains at large.

A check was taken from a Gilroy woman's mailbox, altered and cashed in the amount of $150, between 9:30 a.m. Nov. 22 and 3 p.m. Nov. 24, on the 6300 block of Pacheco Pass Highway.

Petty theft

A tote bag, wallet and digital camera were stolen from an unlocked 1996 maroon Chrysler Town and Country van, between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. Thursday, near Guibal and Rucker avenues.

Burglary

An air conditioning unit, worth $2,500, and about $8,000 worth of other property was stolen, between 5 p.m. Dec. 6 and 2 p.m. Dec. 10, on the 13400 block of Sycamore Drive in Morgan Hill from a residence under construction.

Two dark computer towers and a black 50-inch, flat screen plasma television, total value of about $5,600, were stolen from a residence, between 1:10 p.m. and 1:20 p.m. Dec. 10, on the 3500 block of Hecker Pass Highway.

Lost consulate card

A Morgan Hill man lost his Mexican consulate card, between 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Nov. 26, near Tennant Avenue and Hill Road in Morgan Hill.

Identity theft

A Morgan Hill man's identification information was used to open a fraudulent checking and savings account, between 12 p.m. Dec. 4 and 11:30 a.m. Dec. 8.
