Sheriff's blotter: Six guns found in residence

Sheriff's arrests
Public intoxication

Noe De La Dorry, 20, of Gilroy, 2:45 a.m. Aug. 16, on the 15900 block of Foothill Avenue in Morgan Hill.

Luis Garcia Carrillo, 22, of San Martin, 1:40 a.m. Aug. 14, near Barnell and Spring avenues in Morgan Hill.

Under the influence of a controlled substance

Richard Joseph Napolitano, 29, of Coyote, 11:10 a.m. Aug. 14, near Monterey and Blanchard roads in San Jose.

Jesse Gonzales, 39, of Gilroy, 8:14 a.m. Aug. 13, near Burchell Road and Vista Del Monte Court.

Identity theft

Moises Rodriguez Jimenez, 24, of Gilroy, 9:30 a.m. Aug. 13, near Sandalwood and Katybeth ways in Morgan Hill after providing deputies with a counterfeit a Social Security card when he was pulled over for expired registration.

Other sheriff's incidents
Burglary

A kiosk was searched, causing $1,000 in damage, between 5 p.m. Aug. 16 and 9 a.m. Aug. 17, at the West Side Nursery on the 3800 block of Hecker Pass Highway. Nothing was taken.

Grand theft

A shotgun and box of ammunition was stolen out of an unlocked 2005 brown Chevrolet Silverado, between 5 p.m. Aug. 16 and 9 a.m. Aug. 17, on the 5800 block of Fitzgerald Avenue in San Martin.

A rifle was removed from a trailer, between 7 p.m. Aug. 10 and 10 a.m. Aug. 16, on the 4000 block of Hecker Pass Highway.

Identity theft

A person used a false name and credit cards stolen from the 100 block of Ogier Avenue in Morgan Hill to order products from a mail order company, between 12:01 p.m. April 29 and 9:30 a.m. Aug. 16.

Auto theft

A red tractor was stolen, between 8 p.m. Aug. 14 and 6 a.m. Aug. 15, near Pacheco Pass Highway and Prundale Road. The tractor was abandoned on the side of the road when it ran out of fuel. It was then returned to its owner.

Burglary

A rock was used to smash a window to enter a home, between 5 p.m. Aug. 9 and 7:30 a.m. Aug. 14, on the 17700 block of Elm Road in Morgan Hill. Several pieces of large furniture and paintings were stolen.

Vandalism

Two engine wires were cut on a 2003 brown GMC Yukon, between 6:30 p.m. Aug. 12 and 10 a.m. Aug. 13, on the 14400 block of Murphy Avenue in San Martin. The damage was estimated at $500.

Found property

Three rifles, three pistols and ammunition were found in a residence, 7:30 p.m. Aug. 12, on the 1700 block of Church Avenue.

Stolen vehicle

A 2000 white GMC water truck was stolen, between 12 p.m. Aug. 8 and 12 p.m. Aug. 10, on the 5400 block of Frazier Lake Road.
