Police blotter: Man arrested for five warrants, including burglary

Gilroy police arrests
Carrying a concealed weapon

William Billings, 50, of Bakersfield, 11:11 a.m. Wednesday, near U.S. 101 and 10th Street on warrants for concealing a firearm and driving with a suspended license.

Disturbing the peace

Victor Cid, 38, of the 7300 block of Maple Street, 10:24 p.m. Wednesday, at his residence.

Driving with a suspended license

Venus Benabides, 33, of San Jose, 6:52 p.m. Tuesday, at 7181 Church St. on warrants for driving without insurance and driving with a suspended license.

Andrew Sanchez, 41, of the 200 block of Carlyle Court, 3:02 a.m. Wednesday, near Wren Avenue and Third Street on warrants for broken brake lights and driving with a suspended license.

Petty theft

Samantha Rivera, 28, of Rosanna Street, 3:10 p.m. Wednesday, at 681 Leavesley Road for petty theft and possession of stolen property.

Luan Nguyen, 38, of San Jose, 6:20 p.m. Tuesday, at 300 Leavesley Road.

Possession of a controlled substance

Noelle Mirgoli, of the 9000 block of Connell Court, 2:47 a.m. Wednesday, near Wren Avenue and Third Street on warrants for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and evading a peace officer.

Controlled substance

Frank Gomez, 39, of Hollister, 5 a.m. Wednesday, near 10th and Monterey streets on warrants for being under the influence of a controlled substance and disobeying a court order.

Burglary

Daniel Bohon, 45, of the 8500 block of Wren Avenue, 5 a.m. Wednesday, near 10th and Monterey streets on warrants for burglary, theft by forgery, driving with a suspended license, forgery and contempt of court.

Richard Oviedo, 35, of the 7000 block of Rosanna Street, 3:10 p.m. Wednesday, at 681 Leavesley Road on warrants for burglary and disobeying a court order.
