Police blotter: 26-year-old arrested for four violations and on 13 warrants

Driving without a license

Ramiro Cardenas, 24, of the 7500 block of Chestnut Street, 12:05 p.m. Monday, at the Gilroy Police Department, 7301 Hanna St., on warrants for driving without due caution, failure to appear in court and driving without a license.

Vanessa Jimenez, 25, of the 7100 block of Eigleberry Street, 12:56 p.m. Monday, near 10th and Church streets on a warrant for driving without a license and four warrants for failure to appear in court.

Battery

Frank Martinez, 26, of the 8900 block of Del Rio Circle, 7:36 p.m. Monday, at 150 Farrell Ave. for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and two counts of possession of a controlled substance and on five warrants for violating a protective order, four warrants for battery, two warrants for threatening to commit a deadly crime, a warrant for being under the influence of a controlled substance and a warrant for vandalism.

Maria Vasquez, 43, of the 8100 block of Church Street, 7:49 p.m. Monday, at her residence.

Parole hold

David Torres, 28, of the 7100 block of Church Street, 8:06 p.m. Tuesday, at his residence.

Angel Lopez, 24, of the 8800 block of Willy Avenue, 11:55 p.m. Monday, near Lewis and Forest streets.

Rape

David Cook, 54, of the 1000 block of Byers Street, 3:55 p.m. Monday, at 727 First St. for rape and penetration by a foreign object.

Oral copulation with a minor

Moises Fuentes, 50, of the 800 block of Chesapeake Place, 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, at the Gilroy Police Department, 7301 Hanna St., for sodomy with a person under 18, oral copulation on a child under 14, lewd or lascivious act on a child, sodomy with a person under 14, and oral copulation with a minor.

Possession of a controlled substance

Daniel Mammini, 31, of the 6700 block of Filbro Drive, 2:24 a.m. Tuesday, at an undisclosed location on Leavesley Road on warrants for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Mark Gale, 44, transient, 2:43 a.m. Tuesday, near Leavesley Rd. and U.S. 101, on a warrant.

Driving under the influence

Nicholas Jimenez, 37, of the 7200 block of Hanna Street, 5:50 a.m. Tuesday, at an undisclosed location on Monterey street on warrants for driving under the influence and driving without a license.

Public intoxication

Enrique Zavaleta, 41, transient, 1:10 p.m. Wednesday, near First and Monterey streets on a warrant.

Kenneth Rhodes, 45, transient, 4:09 p.m. Tuesday, near 10th Street and U.S. 101 on warrants for public intoxication and possession of a syringe.

Petty theft

Shalisa Collins, 18, of the 600 block of Cohansey Avenue, 6:07 a.m. Tuesday, at Kohl's, 6765 Camino Arroyo.

Burglary

Manuel Franco, transient, 12:54 p.m. Wednesday, at 815 First St. on warrants for being under the influence of a controlled substance, vandalism and burglary.
