Adam Ramos, 24, of the 400 block of Grant Court, was arrested 4:40 a.m. May 17, at 8425 San Ysidro Avenue on a warrant for rape.
On January 9, 2007, Gilroy police received a report that Ramos had allegedly raped an adult woman after a party at a residence in the area of Church and Fifth streets. The rape occurred several days earlier on Jan. 5.
The victim awoke to find that the suspect was having sexual intercourse with her, Sgt. Jim Gillio said. She managed to kick the man, who was an acquaintance, out of the house.
Ramos was arrested Saturday during the course of an unrelated call.
