Elizabeth Sunshine Cameron was born Aug. 21, 2008 at Emanuel Medical Center to David and Jeanne Cameron of Gilroy. She weighed 10 pounds, 1 ounce.

Seth Curtis

Air Force Airman Seth E. Curtis has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises, and special training in human relations.

He is the son of Robert and Tammy Curtis of Hollister and a 2006 graduate of San Benito High School.

ENGAGEMENT

Harris/Murphy

Jamie Murphy and Jeffrey Harris are engaged to be married.

Jamie, daughter of Dennis Murphy of Scranton, Iowa, and the late Patricia Murphy, is a 2000 graduate of Gilroy High School and a 2006 graduate of Sacramento City College School of Dental Hygiene. She is employed at Cordano Spears Dental in Yuba City.

Jeffrey, son of Cliff and Debbie Harris of Oroville, is a 2000 graduate of Gilroy High School and a 2005 graduate of Yuba College. He is employed at Duane's Body and Paint in Sacramento.

The couple plan to marry Sept. 27, 2008 in Yuba City.
